By Adopting A Puppy From Us, You Agree To The Following:
1.
Take your puppy to a veterinarian promptly to ensure he or she is healthy and does not require medical attention. Schedule this initial visit within 48 hours of the puppy’s arrival. This visit helps confirm that shipping caused no issues and allows your veterinarian to become familiar with your puppy in case future medical care is needed.
2.
We are not responsible for any disease exposure after the puppy leaves our care. Please monitor where you take your puppy and who handles it. Avoid areas previously exposed to disease or locations with high disease risk. Treat your puppy with the same care you would give a newborn baby.
3.
To validate this health guarantee, take your puppy to a veterinarian of your choice, at your expense, within 48 hours of arrival. The veterinarian must confirm that the puppy arrived in good health. If the puppy shows any sign of illness, seek veterinary care immediately.
4.
Before delivery, our veterinarian examines every puppy and issues a health certificate. Your puppy receives at least the first set of vaccinations and often a full initial series before joining your home. We also deworm the puppy before delivery.
However, young puppies remain highly susceptible to worms because they encounter parasites easily when they touch the ground. For this reason, deworming must continue while the puppy is in your care. Your puppy will also require follow-up vaccinations. Please continue both vaccinations and deworming according to your veterinarian’s schedule.
5.
If a veterinarian diagnoses a life-threatening congenital or hereditary defect, provide the breeder with a signed veterinary report describing the condition. Once we receive this documentation, we will replace the puppy with the first available puppy of equal value. The original puppy must be returned before we deliver the replacement puppy.
6.
The purchaser assumes responsibility for all veterinary expenses related to the purchased puppy.
7.
This guarantee becomes null and void if the purchaser sells the puppy to a third party or fails to take normal health and safety precautions.
8.
Small breed puppies may experience stress that causes their blood sugar to drop to dangerous levels. The new owner must carefully monitor the puppy for signs of low blood sugar and take appropriate action if symptoms appear. Owners should take preventative measures to avoid this condition. The breeder cannot accept responsibility for problems that result from neglect or failure to monitor the puppy’s condition.
9.
The new owner acknowledges and accepts the puppy’s known medical history. The owner must seek veterinary advice whenever necessary and pay for all veterinary services. Once the puppy leaves the breeder’s possession, the purchaser assumes full responsibility for the puppy’s care and all related veterinary expenses.
If the puppy dies for any reason, the breeder reserves the right to request an autopsy performed at the purchaser’s expense.
10.
If a replacement becomes necessary, the breeder will provide a healthy puppy of equal quality as soon as one becomes available. The purchaser must cover all shipping costs for returning the original puppy and for shipping the replacement puppy. If the purchaser declines the replacement puppy, this health guarantee becomes null and void.
11.
We work closely with our veterinarians to maintain the health of our puppies. Our vaccination and deworming records list all treatments administered. The breeder administers these vaccines under a veterinarian-recommended immunization program. Please continue your puppy’s vaccination schedule according to your veterinarian’s recommendations.
12.
Each puppy receives a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian and a full veterinary examination before leaving our care. Although we take every precaution to raise healthy puppies, this health guarantee does not cover kennel cough, coccidia, diarrhea, collapsed trachea, giardia, open fontanel, or parasites, teacup chihuahua for sale family raised nationwide
